Datastreams Solutions, LLC Announces ClawGuard Open Source Prompt and Skill Security Scanner
United States — Datastreams Solutions, LLC announced the open source release of ClawGuard, a hybrid security scanner for agent ecosystems that combines semantic retrieval with high-signal manual rules.
ClawGuard is designed to detect common real-world abuse patterns including credential harvesting, exfiltration channels, policy bypass attempts, payload obfuscation, persistence instructions, and mass data export intent. It is built for CI pipelines and local developer workflows.
The scanner ships with adversarial evaluation cases, tunable severity thresholds, and support for local embedding backends to keep detection practical in both self-hosted and enterprise environments.
“Security gates for agent prompts and skills need both semantic understanding and explicit hard rules,” the Datastreams Solutions team said. “ClawGuard is aimed at teams that want a defensible first-pass control before execution.”
ClawGuard is available under MIT license and is intended to integrate alongside broader identity, verification, and governance controls.
